This Module Triples Your Visibility In The Rear

Webster defines Illuminate as to supply or brighten with light; to make understandable, clarify; to provide with understanding and to enlighten.

Think about this: Snap a set of red lenses into your rear stock turn signals or custom turn signals, and install the Illuminator™ Module. Now your bike has 3 running lights, hit your brake, and you have 3 brake lights. Touch your turn signal button, and you maintain your turn signal function while the other side remains a running light, or if you are braking, a brake light.

Don’t confuse them with a flashing brake light; let them know what you are doing with our Illuminator. After all, shouldn’t you be the one who decides when there is real danger ahead?

Designed to work in conjunction with H-D Self Canceling Signal Modules or an OEM flasher system.

#1 ILL-01 “The Illuminator™ module” Fits H-Ds: FX and FL models from 73 thru 84, XL models from 73-85 and 91-98 with Deutsch 3-plug rear fender harness, and Custom Motorcycles. Also fits any motorcycle with modified wiring or without factory plugs.

(EXCEPT FOR BCM MODELS - 2011 & UP SOFTAILS, AND 2012 & UP DYNAS)

In the “lost years” from 90 to 96, FL’s, Dynas & Sportsters may have different plugs than the 6 pin shown in photo 2. If you have an 8-pin plug that looks like the 6 pin, see below & follow the instructions, and we will build one for you. On Dressers, if you have an 8-pin Deutsch plug, we will build that for you too.
If you have a Sportster with 3 plugs, use our ILL-01 hard wire module.

ILL-01-D ILLUMINATOR FOR 1991 -1996
FLH WITH 8 PIN DEUTSCH FACTORY H-D PLUGS

After 2 years of research and making these up for customers, we have determined that H-D FLH dressers that come from the factory with the 8 pin Deutsch plugs do have standard pin positions. This module will fit all 1991 thru 1996 H-Ds that are fitted with the pictured 8 pin Deutsch plug.

ILL-01-B Plug Assembly

Being that H-D made changes on different models from 1990 to 1996 and used the B style rear harness plugs, BUT HAD NOT STANDARDIZED THE PIN POSITIONS, we will now make you a plug-in version for your bike. We will need you to e-mail 3 photos like the ones below showing both of the plugs (this is the Main Harness Plug to the Rear Lighting Harness plug), the wires going into Male plug and the wires going into the Female plug. Also include pin # location and wire color for both Male Plug & Female Plug.

E-mail these photos to Rick@BadlandsMotorcycleProducts.com , call with your credit card # and we will build the plug that fits your Bike. Note: our ILL-01-B Module comes with the plug shown in photo, however some people are not comfortable crimping the pins and assuring the correct wires go into the correct location into the correct plug. If you’re not comfortable doing that, we will do it for you.

THE Illuminator™ PRO III

This new module is a custom bike builders dream! It also works perfectly on older Harley-Davidsons that did not come with the H-D canceller system. It has several of our existing modules built into one module. This module controls every feature you would want your turn signal system to do. Electronic flashing with automatic canceling, front running lights and turn signals on single or dual filament, Halogen or incandescent bulbs and LEDs. Rear running lights, brake light function and turn signals on single or dual filament, Halogen or Incandescent bulbs as well as LEDs, with our Load Equalizer III function built-in. Runs LEDs, or up to 70 watts per corner / each station.

#17 ILL-PRO-III Illuminator™ Pro III for custom bike builds, “Manufactured Custom” V-twins, or Harley-Davidsons
without any auto-canceling system.

THE INTENSIFIER™ MODULE

These new modules convert single function LEDs, Halogen or Incandescent Bulbs to High and Low dual functions. Run & Stop, Run & Turn, or High & Low. Works for Taillights, Signals, Marker Lights, Fender Tip, LED Accent Lighting, Driving Lights, or any other application where two intensities are desired. IHL-01 runs up to 50 watts in total without heat issues. IHL-02 will run up to 2 - 50 watt Driving Lights! Built in the USA with quality components, using the proven technology from our Illuminator™ Pro. The intensities are controlled with our Optimized Modulation technology to ensure distinct intensity differences from any light source.

#18 IHL-01 One low input, one high input, one output. One Module will run single or multiple driving lights for High & Low; single or multiple marker lights for Run & Stop. Also can do Run & Turn on a pair of turn signals but 2 units are required. Will run up to 50 watts total for Driving Lights (2x25W). Fits any 12 volt system!

#19 IHL-02 Dual version of the above - two inputs, two outputs. Does Run & Stop or High & Low. Does Run & Turn for a pair of turn signals with one module. Runs up to 100 watts total for Driving Lights (2x50W, 4x25W). Fits any 12 volt system!



AUTOMATIC TURN SIGNAL SHUT OFF MODULE III

 

This new module has been miniaturized while adding new improved features. This will give any Harley- Davidson without the 1991 and up self canceller similar convenient features. Includes simple wiring diagram for stock OEM wiring, as well as a Custom wiring diagram for Custom builds or “Manufactured Custom” V-Twins.

Beware of cheap imitators, we invented this too!

Our plug-in version comes in 3 different plug-in styles. Simply plug-in and replace your old broken OEM canceller.
Another application is when you have removed your OEM Speedo to install a custom gas tank, or installed a custom Speedo, you will have forfeited your operation of the OEM canceller - this module will return similar features.

New for Harley-Davidsons
equipped with the TSSM or HFSM security/alarm module or the TSM turn signal module.

This module works flawlessly with the new generation of Harley-
Davidson modules and is compatible with virtually any of the custom turn signals available. Works great with Halogen and
LEDs too. Unlike other modules, this module allows your security
system to work properly all the time. If you have a security
light that is not functioning correctly (stays on all the time) or your turn signals blink erratically, this module will solve any related problem. This new module produces no heat and is also intended for the 1991 and up standard turn signal modules too.

This new solid-state module has solved the problem of having to use ceramic resistors that produce unwanted heat.

 • Runs custom Incandescent turn signals, Halogen and LEDs too, or they can be mixed front & rear
 • Will run emergency flashers for any amount of time with bike running at full battery output
 • The only Load Equalizer designed for parade use & extended periods of usage

ORIGINAL LOAD EQUALIZER I & II
Original resistor style Load Equalizer I & II (Not to be used in hazard mode for more than a few minutes.)
Load Equalizer II can be used in hazard mode with key off till battery runs out.
Our recommendation is to upgrade to the solid state Load Equalizer III!!! Fits 1990 Thru 1999 H-Ds.

• Do not use on 2000 & up H-Ds, use the Load Equalizer III.

LIGHT’EM UP
New! LE-03-SR for 2010+ Street Glide or Road Glide with 6 pin Molex plug. (CVO models run a different 8-pin plug, which we can provide. Contact Badlands to special order.) Run this module with the Radiantz inserts to brighten up the rear of your bike. Also contact us for a module for Dynas, Nightsters & V-Rod muscles where you have only 2 turn signals for rear run, brake & turn.

 

Badlands’ LE-03-SR Load Equalizer III is necessary when you convert to LEDs for vastly superior visibility for your 2010-2012 Street Glide or Road Glide! Keep those texters off your tail!

Our Load Equalizer III is also available for Nightsters, Dynas, Softails, V-Rod Muscle and other models with the 2 Deuce signals configured from the factory as run, brake & turn with no center taillight. (Contact Badlands.)
